This is my dataset currently
| Entity | Owner Emails | Buyer Emails |
| ABC Inc | john@test.com Pam@ abc.com | Jim@yahoo.com James@abc.com Kelly@cbs.com |
| ABC Inc | Bob@msn.com | test@test.com Greg@test.com Sam@cnn.com |
| CBC Inc | Sal@cbc.com Tom@jerry.com | Paul@test.com |
I want to get it into this format.
| Entity | User | Type |
| ABC Inc | john@test.com | Owner |
| ABC Inc | Pam@ abc.com | Owner |
| ABC Inc | Jim@yahoo.com | Buyer |
| ABC Inc | James@abc.com | Buyer |
| ABC Inc | Kelly@cbs.com | Buyer |
| ABC Inc | Bob@msn.com | Owner |
| ABC Inc | test@test.com | Buyer |
| ABC Inc | Greg@test.com | Buyer |
| ABC Inc | Sam@cnn.com | Buyer |
| CBC Inc | Sal@cbc.com | Owner |
| CBC Inc | Tom@jerry.com | Owner |
| CBC Inc | Paul@test.com | Buyer |
I essentially want a separate row for each email, and then add a column to say what type of owner it is (owner vs buyer). Can anyone help?
Hi @richleeb2
They key here is a Transpose tool.
First, though, I would use a multi-row formula tool to "fill down" your Entity field:
Then, use the Transpose to essentially move the field names to rows. Last, I would use a Filter tool to get rid of the empty values.
Hope this helps!
