How to remove extra periods from a string field

Hi,

I have values like 

ACC.BBB.TM
C.QMM.UZZ
DH.QPP.Z

I require the data like

ACCBBB.TM
CQMM.UZZ
DHQPP.Z

No extra periods in between..

In your example, you can use the ReplaceFirst function to get the job done.
