How do you keep the integer type and string type in one column when outputting to excel?

I have about 7 columns that have mixed values but will only output in text form in excel. How can I keep the numbers to be in number format and text to be text format in excel?

Hi @riyarojan

It sounds a simple Basic Table tool should do the work.

If I miss anything, please point it out.

If you have data of two types in your Alteryx column - and you want this to be type specific in excel - you must write to a preformated excel file (overwrite sheet or range/preserve formatting)

It didn't work for me. I selected the button that says "Preserve formatting on Overwrite (range required)" but it doesn't give me anywhere to specify the range?

But where is that outputting to? It says its outputting to an excel file but I don't see any new excel file that has that data saved on my computer after running that workflow you made.
