How do I add time to time?

RohitAakula

I have time (05:00:00 - TIME format) in column and want to increase time say, by 2 hours. Expected time output is 07:00:00 (Time Format).

When I use datetimeadd function, output is null().

Thanks in advance!

Hey @RohitAakula, in this case we usually just add a dummy date to the time element so that we can use DateTimeAdd() - in the output you can leave the data type as time so only that part comes through:

@RohitAakula

if we are using DateTimeAdd needs a include date format.

can you try and check like this.

Use the formula

DateTimeAdd([Time], 2, "hours")
