How can we read a xls file in Alteryx without using RunCommand-"excelcnv.exe" Application

Hi,

 

Could you please help me with a alternate soluntion to read a .xls EXCEL file instead of using RunCommand-"excelcnv.exe" Application.

What's the reason you can't just use a standard input tool?

Is this a macro that you found that bulk converts .xls files to .xlsx? This looks odd.

The xls file i am trying to import is not being read by the tool. Below is the snip of the error message.

You may need to install Access Driver to read this file:
