Help with Data Transformation Please

Hi All,

I just received a new data set that I really don't know how to transform to a format that I can conduct analysis in Tableau. As you can see, there are lots of merged cells in the Excel file.

I need to kind of pivoting the data in a way that I will have a separate column for "Date". So, I need my data set has the following fields:

Labor Activity, Rig Name, Shift, Date, Hours, Meters, Active Time, Revenue, Type

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @VahidGoli ,

I've tried bringing the data in a format that contain the columns that you asked for. Can you take a look and see if that's what you are after?

Please feel free to ask any questions if something is unclear about the workflow.

Cheers,

Angelos
