Guide to Creating Your Own Connector - User Interface

i'm using alteryx 11 designer and while i can search on the work "download" as a tool, there is no way i'd know it was there because it's not showing in connectors.  how do i get all connectors (or all tools) to show up, on the top bar so i know what my choices are?

Hi @becki,

Click on the + icon in the far right of the tool palette. It'll open up the window to configure what tools are visible in your palette.

I didn't know I didn't have all of them checked.  why would you not want them all available?

I show all tools, but some like to clean up their tool palette with only the tools they use most frequently.
