'Getting started' - excel lesson error message

Hello,

Hope you're all well! My name's Laura, I've just joined the Alteryx community and very new to all this - apologies if this is the wrong discussion forum for my question. I'm going through the 'Getting started' lessons and I'm a bit stuck with inputting data from an excel spreadsheet. I keep getting this error message (please see screen shot). I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me - I think it might be a problem with my laptop?

Do you also have the Excel sheet open in Excel while you're trying to open it in Alteryx?

That is usually what causes that error.
