Generating Interactive PDFs

Is it possible to add interactive check boxes to PDFs created in designer? 

I have seen here that we can parse data from existing PDFs but I cant find anything on creating them ourselves.

@Carlithian , creating interactive elements from a PDF Output currently is not possible.

However, there is an idea from the community that you can vote for.
