Fuzzy Matching

Hello everyone,

I am trying to match some text. I have looked into other discussions and was unable to replicate their success.

I have data with company "ABC" that has the town designation as such:

In another sheet, I have company "BCA" with town designation as such:

I would like to match BCA with ABC's naming convention, using both the town and the city. However, it must also match the state. For example, there is a Lenox in IL as well as NY. Only the Illinois row would be updated.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@np123 , I am not sure if I fully understood your statement, but based on your sample input and output needs, I have created a workflow. Please let me know if this was what you needed.

Hi @grazitti_sapna, thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I should have clarified, there will be many fields for each state.

ABC has two Lansing City fields one with Eaton Co and the other with Ingham Co.

BCA also has two Lansing City fields but only the last one should match up, producing an output of such:

Thanks!
