Fuzzy Match performance improvement

Question 1

Hi,

I’m trying to perform a fuzzy match on two columns containing financial company names. Some investor names, like the examples below, appear to match but aren’t recognized by the fuzzy match tool, likely due to extra spaces.

Examples:

  • File 1: Australian Super Pty Ltd
    File 2: Australiansuper

  • File 1: BCC Financial Services Banking Investments
    File 2: BCC Investments LLC

I've attached an image of my fuzzy match workflow.

Question 2

I also have a set of investor names that should match, for example:

  • RBC / Royal Bank of Canada
  • BNS / Bank of Nova Scotia
  • BMO / Bank of Montreal

Is there a way to include these names in a separate Excel file and connect it to the workflow so the fuzzy match tool recognizes them as matches? I want the original names (e.g., "BNS," "RBC") to remain unchanged in the final output. I tried using the Find and Replace tool, but it didn’t work.

Could someone help me with these?
