Finding Previous Years Workforce

Hi Community, 

I'm trying to find those who were employed last year (2019) and those who were employed in previous year as well (2018), and I only have Hire Date (which everyone has) and Term Date (which NOT everyone has). I know it's a blend of a basic if then statement but the null term dates are throwing me off. Attached is 'skeleton' of the workflow and data, a simple calc for 2019/2018 that returns T/F would be ideal. Thanks in advance for the help.

Kind of an ugly formula but I think it gets you what you need:

IIF([Hire Year] <= 2018
AND ([Term Year] >= 2019 OR IsNull([Term Year]))
, 1, 0)
