Extracting data based on a set criteria

Hi,

I'm trying to extract cost centre data from the description field below. In a new column, I want Alteryx to extract the cost centre. It always begins with cc then followed by 4 digits. Sometimes there will be a space in between. I would appreciate some help and ideas on how to do this

Hi @Mamamia

Please make use of the below Regular Expression in Regex tool.

(cc\s{0,1}\d{4})

Output method: Parse

Many thanks
