I have put together a pretty strait forward workflow. Use the directory tool to get the names and paths of a bunch of PDF's in a network shared drive, filter to the files that I need to upload and then attach it to the sharepoint output tool to upload to the sharepoint site. Everything looks configured well, but when I run it I get the error Extension cannot be empty. The target path includes a link to the field that has the name of the file.pdf. The source referrences the full path on where the file can be found in the network share. In configure it is set to overwrite. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe that the acceptable file formats only apply if you are updating data within an existing file. In my case I would be dropping/overwriting the entire file in the directory with a PDF. Please let me know if you think I am wrong. Thanks,
Ben
Unfortunately, I don't see the option you are using under the SharePoint Output. what version are you using?
I am using (almost) the latest version 2.7.1 and doesn't have "Output data" option. as it only offer to output the data into files, I think they must have removed the "Upload File to SharePoint" option. (check here) and here
maybe someone else who have similar options as yours can chip in.
