We are trying to run a query which has google drive input tool (https://marketplace.alteryx.com/en-US/apps/417852/google-drive-tools) (https://help.alteryx.com/current/en/designer/tools/connectors/google-drive-input-tool.html) and are using to input a google sheet.
The query runs fine when we run it manually, however it throws an error while scheduling this on Alteryx Desktop Automation Scheduler
Tool #845 Could not find the plugin directory 'GoogleDriveInput' in 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Alteryx\Tools', 'C:\ProgramData\Alteryx\Tools', or 'C:\Program Files\Alteryx\bin\HtmlPlugins'
Any solution on how to use this tool on scheduler?
Make sure the tool is installed on the gallery. Also make sure the same version of the tool is being installed/used in both desktop and the gallery.
Sorry can you please explain how to install on gallery?
By installed both desktop and the gallery, do you mean installed at these 2 locations?
\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Alteryx\Tools
\ProgramData\Alteryx\Tools

@Het_3 I'm assuming by "scheduler" you mean the gallery scheduler. Please consult with your Alteryx Gallery admin. They will need to verify/install it.
To see which version you have installed go to the Connector tool set grouping and click on the tool in the menu. The version you have installed will be written in the tool tip pop up. You will have to work with your Alteryx Gallery admin to get your versions in-sync.
I'm not sure how to fix this for the desktop scheduler.
By Scheduler I mean Desktop Automation and scheduling it locally on my computer
@Het_3 I'm not familiar with running things locally using the schedule ;(
any updates on this topic? trying to do this as well
Yes
Try to install google drive input yxi file while running Alteryx as administrator

this is expected behavior. desktop automation does not support python based tools. Google drive is a pythong based tool. Yes - it's annoying, frustrating and nonsensical - but it's exepcted behavior and in the deskotp automation documentation.
