Hello Users,

I'm getting this error when trying to get the data into Output for multiple excel sheet tabs. I am new to Alteryx and I'm working on a workflow which someone else has built but keep getting error.  I have added multiple Block Until Dones before the Output tool but still that doesn't seem to be working. Can someone please advise me. It looks like quite a big workflow so I put it in 2 images

Request you to please advise asap.  Thanks!

Control Containers will be your best bet: Control Containers: Take Control of Your Workflow - Alteryx Community. Use Case #1 should apply to you!

Thank you, looking at this and comparing it to mine. Would I just move my outputs into control containers and connect them? EG

  • Container 1: Outputs for Req 1–6
  • Container 2: Outputs for Req 7–12
  • Container 3: Outputs for Req 13–18
  • Set each container to run after the previous one.

Yes exactly - but each output would have a control container. Aka if you have 12 outputs, you should have 12 control containers, all linked together!

Thank you and I assume it'd be something like this? I've got about 25+ outputs so would have to do that many. I've just made a start with the first 4

Hi so I added all the outputs and put them into their own control container. Now I am just getting this error on the last control container

Control Container (550) Internal Error - Anchor (550:Log) was not closed

Yes that looks correct - I would check for other errors upstream and make sure those are fixed!

That just seems to be the only error now on the final control container. I thought maybe it was because it needed an output to go to and I sent it to Message tool that just says "End of run" but this also didnt seem to work :(

What happens when you remove that last container?

It looked like it managed to run once I removed the last one. Strange. How can I get it to run with the last one that I wanted?
