Dynamic file paths file names

just getting started with alteryx. we have folders saved in date format mm.dd.yy.  is there a way to import files that have changing dates or are located in paths where the folders will change daily?  same goes for saving files.

I'd recommend diving into batch macros and how to dynamically import files. You'd need that for the harder part of your inqury. For the easier part - directory tool will give you filenames/paths and you can use filters (possible in conjunction with Regex) to parse the date time in the naming convention.
