Hi, would anyone have idea to this?
I have a criteria table that states the condition and the indicator that I want to assign to under that condition. For example, if the person is a male, then assign Ind_Male = 1. If the person is a male with age 30-39, then assign Ind_Male aged 30-39 = 1. If not assigned, indicators shall be set as 0.
At the bottom is a sample database, with the expected indicator fields.
The problem is, I cannot find a way to set Ind_[Criteria Table Indicator value] = 1 dynamically.
Thanks a lot!
Criteria Table
| Sex | Employment Status | Age | Indicator |
| M | * | * | Male |
| M | * | 30-39 | Male aged 30-39 |
| M | Employed | * | Employed Male |
Data
| ID | Sex | Employment Status | Age | [expected output] Ind_Male | [expected output] Ind_Male aged 30-39 | [expected output] Ind_Employed Male |
| 1 | M | Employed | 20-29 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| 2 | M | Employed | 30-39 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| 3 | M | Unemployed | 30-39 | 1 | 1 | 0 |
| 4 | F | Employed | 20-29 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 5 | F | Employed | 40-49 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 6 | F | Unemployed | 40-49 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 7 | M | Employed | 30-39 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| 8 | F | Unemployed | 50-59 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
hi @newbiealt
Please try the attached WF. In order to cater for dynamic criteria(including number of criteria to be applied), I transform data into vertical shape, and compare by Join and Formula. By doing so, you can always have the same schema at criteria checking process without having to configure every time.
Hi @newbiealt
I have made Workflow for your Problem. Please Check.
If it works Kindly accept it as Solution.
