Date conversion not working

Formula: DateTimeFormat(DateTimeParse([Created On],"%Y-%m-%d"),"%m/%d/%y") showing blank for the entire column.

The date comes in like this: 2019-02-08 and I want it to be 2/8/2019

Hi @lailas ,

Try adding an entirely new column with your formula and make sure it is set to a string format and that should work. What I am assuming you are doing is you're trying to modify the existing column which is a date format, alteryx only recognizes the input as a date format, and so if you are trying to change the formatting, it will need to be a string value.
