Hi Everyone,
My team currently uses two access databases to track hierarchy information. I'm trying to get down to one. Has anyone ever used a flow to compare two databases and identify missing line items (Ones they don't share). If I can identify the missing items from one database I can move into 1. Can you use Alteryx just to merge the missing information into the other Access Database.
when you say two databases - are you talking about on two different server? are we talking 10,000,000 rows or 10,000,000,000 rows?
Hi, by using the Join tool onto specific fields, you can compare the two databases easily and identify the missing items from the outer join outputs, Subsequently, you can always do a union to merge the missing information, depending on your use case.
it would help tremendously if you can list specific examples.
Hope this helps, thanks!
