I have a table which is similar to this.

StateItemType of saleUnits Sold
CABooksRetail50
CABooksWholesale500
MIBooksRetail20
MIBooksWholesale250
CTBooksRetail100
MABooksRetail100

 

I would like to transform my data to this:

ItemType of SaleCAMICTMA
BooksRetail502000
BooksWholesale500250100100

 

Can someone help me to do this?

@hash9 This is a pretty simple setup with a cross-tab tool

 

cross tab settings.PNGIf you want your table to include zeroes where there is no data then include a data cleanse tool after the cross tab.
