Data Connection Error

Hi All,

 

I recently upgraded to Alteryx version 2025.1 and when i tried running one of the workflows i had created before i received this error.

 

Error: Input Data (24): Error SQLExecute: [IBM][System i Access ODBC Driver][DB2 for i5/OS]SQL0802 - Data conversion or data mapping error.

 

Can someone please help me understand what could be driving it and what steps i need t follow in order to resolve it?

Below are most common root causes:

1. Invalid numeric data in character columns being cast or ordered.

2. Arithmetic overflow / invalid operation in DECIMAL/packed/zoned fields.
3. Character set / CCSID conversion issues.
4. Driver/manager differences after upgrade.
