Creating a Batch Macro -- Analytic App

Good morning Alteryx Community 

I'm building a Workflow in which I want to turn-it into an analytic app where the end user can run it from the server gallery.   

The field that needs to be updated by the end user with be a date.

If I understand well you need the user to pick a date and based on that you update the filter and then generate the output:

1- I add a date tool for the user to choose the date and then the action in order to update the filter:

Hello @ll98 ,

There are two ways to transform a new workflow into an analytic app. Either by dragging and dropping the interface tools to the workflow (Numeric drop down, Check Box etc) or by selecting "Analytic App"  on the workflow configuration (in case there are no interface tools involved).

Note: Not all interface tools transform into an analytic app, some like control parameter or macro input or output transform them into macros
