Converting Date to MMDDYYYY format

Hello, 

 

I have a column with dates written as YYYY-MM-DD and I want to convert it to MM-DD-YYYY.

 

How can I get to this format?

Formula: DateTimeFormat([Date field],"%m-%d-%Y") stored as a string
