Connecting to InterSystems' Caché database

Hi All

Has anyone got experience of connecting to a Caché database via Alteryx please ?

This would be to complement InterSystems' Zen reporting suite sitting on the TrakCare healthcare system.

Thanks !

dan

@DanHare We don't have any reported cases of users asking for information on this particular database. The database is not supported, but if the database or system has an API or a way to use a command prompt to execute the software to export data, you could look at either using the Download tool for the API or use the Events command or even a Run Command tool to operate that database and system to execute when the workflow us running.

Thanks Dan, it was worth a try.

Cache is an OO database exposed by a flaky ODBC driver - the vendor tries to keep it all ringfenced !

Will share experiences if we get the chance.

Dan is correct,

I'm trying extract data from Cache and I'm able to establish the connection but getting multiple OBDC driver errors when reading the objects/tables.

There are a few of them

No Lua script was found for corresponding ODBC Driver

Invalid Date formats, etc

Flaky is a good description.
