Configuring Fuzzy match for strings starting with digit

harish_alt

Hello,

I am developing a workflow to fuzzy match strings as shown below.

1-Nokia

Nokia

2,3-iPhone

4uPhone

Standard Names:

Nokia

iPhone

4uPhone

I am expecting below output:

1-Nokia : Nokia

Nokia : Nokia

2,3-iPhone : iPhone

4uPhone : 4uPhone.

My Fuzzy match tool configuration now:

Please help me to reconfigure to achieve the required output. Thanks.

Hi @harish_alt ,

Alteryx automatically uses the first letter as the first key word character, so it is not possible to match names with no identical first letters/digits, so what we can do is to create a dummy character to make it all work.

Take a look and let me know if it makes sense.

Best,
