I am aware of the macros available to compare differences between two excel files. However, I’ve not found something that does it for two excel files with hundreds of tabs/sheet names.
Is it possible to get the differences of each sheet vis-a-vis with its file counterpart (assuming the counterpart has the sheet name)?
In addition, the current comparison macro from the KB only caters to values that are already present in the Excel files. What happens if there’s a massive change in structure and some things are changed around?
What about for scenarios where the values just change data types, but by transposing/cross-tab, most of it becomes V_WString, thereby making it hard to compare data types by row and by file.
Any advice? Would it be better to process 1 file 1 sheet at a time?
