I'm having the same issue. My organization is trying to standardize our workflows to some extent, using broad color categories for documentation. I'm finding that the color coded comment boxes tend to be in the front again after closing and re-opening the workflow.
This is always happening for me when using the comments. I really like the freedom of using colors and font sizes, etc. Right now, I am moving to use containers. Please do fix this bug ... thanks in advance.
I've noticed the same thing. In my version (2019.4.8.22007) it only seems to happen with comment boxes that are inside containers. Any comment boxes that are not inside containers always stay at the back. For those areas of the workflow I'm going to try "Bring to Front" for all the tools instead of "Send to Back" to see if that makes a difference. I'll report back.
I thought it had for a while but then I moved some tools inside that container and the next time I opened that workflow some of the tools were behind the comment box again. I need to run another test without moving those tools and see if they stay in place again.
Thanks Mike. I thought I had success using your approach. Brought to front - saved - exit - reopen and everything was good. Closed out again (not making any changes) and now an hour later, its back to how it was.
