Alteryx App Output Issue

Hi I am trying to Create a simple analytics to replace a word from a text input and displaying it through browser or storing in file. Tried another attached workflow where in tried to change a value in filter through action tool from interface . Nothing worked . Workflow runs but nothing changes . 

Please help and provide some sample app for that.

Hi,

I think you set the action tool in the wrong way. The action tool should update the value of the operand in your formula.

Right now your action tool is set this way:

You have to highlight/select the right section. Not Filter(2) - which is the name of the tool - rather then expand the hierarchy and look for what you want to update.

Right now your workflow is filtering rows where Count=1.

If you want to filter rows where Count=what people digit in the box, you may want to update the operand value.
