Hello experts,
Am seeking advice for a much more efficient method to output to an Excel template that contains formulas. A screenshot of the majority of the template is included.
There are groups of 8 consecutive months (with 9 lines each) that needs the #s to be populated by Alteryx for columns of 6 product lines and a Total column. This is the format for 2 segments.
The method I have used works but it is extremely inefficient. There are additional tabs in this template that I have been able to populate fairly efficiently, but this format has given me trouble.
So, essentially, the screenshot of my workflow is populating the Total column of the second segment (column T) for each of the 8 months. I intend to put this into a macro after I can see the pattern, but don't have the vision of that yet because the logic I'm showing will need to be replicated 14 times.. 9 lines for each of the 8 months for 14 columns. Attached is a screenshot of this method completed which took 10 minutes to run.
I've read about using the blob tools with Excel templates, but haven't been able to wrap my head around it.
(just noticed the row #s are off by 2 from my workflow screenshot because I deleted the first 2 rows)
Appreciate your help!
