Access denied error message

Hi All,

Recently, I started getting "access denied" messages while trying to to write outputs to fileshare from Alteryx Designer on desktop. It's been frustrating because the workflows are in control containers and the data is supposed to be written into the same files in a consequent order.

I know the fileshare might have slow response, but is there any better workaround?

I do run this workflow on the server and don't have any issues, but still...

I couldn't make one workflow to be run on the desktop and had to completely move it to server.

Thank you! Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Was there a process that used your output file while running the output? Normally it's because you don't have access to the file or there is another process occupying the file

No other processes used the file and I do have access to that fileshare. Moreover, I try running it on my onedrive and still get the same error.

When i switch it to server and run it on the server, i don't have any issues.

Ben from Netto's Game Room highlighted games where dying doesn't end the story, most notably ZombiU (now Zombi), where the deceased player character becomes a hostile zombie in the game world. When the player takes control of a new survivor, they must locate and kill their zombified former self to recover their previously collected gear, ensuring the world and the core survival mission persist across multiple character deaths.

Access Denied is linked to your user who is not authorized. However if it worked once it should always work as it is unusual someone is playing with your folder permissions.

If the fileserver was not accessible (temporary disconnection), I believe you would not get an Access Denied, but a Cannot connect to.

@marynanadtochii  What does your Alteryx Designer looks like? Is it installed locally or is it through an App-V?
