First and foremost....I have a ticket into Support. I am running a standalone laptop deployment. We do not have Alteryx server.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this....
I tried installing 2019.3 admin yesterday and was getting this error, even when I tried "run as admin":
So, today I tried to install the non-admin version. It was successful...until I tried to install my R tools. Apparently if I can see it in my programs it still isn't installed? When I tried to open Alteryx (since clearly it is installed), It couldn't find (or it was corrupted) the gui.exe mentioned above.
So now I can't run anything. Until I find 2019.2 and try to install it.

Hi MKosmicki,
Which R version did you try to install? Admin or non-admin?
Thanks,
Kucsi
Both.
It was my anti-virus program. It was seeing Alteryx as a trojan virus. Even after I installed it (after disabling my anti-virus), it quarantined the entire program when I opened it.
The Solution....whitelisting Alteryx and the R tools.
Michelle
Oh, i see. Happy to got a solution 🙂
To resolve this error you will want to white list all folders below.
C:\ProgramData\Alteryx\*
C:\ProgramData\SRC\*
C:\Program Files\Alteryx\*
C:\Program Files (x86)\Alteryx\*
C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Alteryx\*
C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\SRC\*
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\Alteryx\*
After you white list you should be able to install with no problems.
I tried whitelisting these files but my antivirus says its an invalid file name. Please help!
