Where can we get a semester-long educational teacher/student Designer Cloud license?
Hi @frankxwang ,
Designer Cloud is available to students and educators on a limited basis at the moment. There are several factors that have to be considered when choosing to include the cloud version vs. the desktop version. If you are considering cloud and would like more information, please contact your education manager (available on the main page of the educator space).
Thank you very much for the information. I contacted Jay and Kim and have been waiting for their reply.
The issue with Desktop version is that so many students have Mac OS. None of the alternatives (VM, parallel, or remote server, etc.) is error free and free of charge, which will put substantial technical burden on the instructors and economic/technical burdens on the students.
Thanks again for your help.
Hi Frank, thank you for the interest in using AACP this Spring. We're looking forward to supporting you and your students.
How can I get a new student access? Won't you please help me?
Thanks & Regards¡
Hi. I’m a student who has a MacOS and would like to learn to use Alteryx. What services can I avail for free as a student given that I only have a MacOS? How many months of free trial in Alteryx cloud designer do you offer students? Thank you!
Hi @Roxy000,
You can request a 1-month free trial through our website but we currently do not offer individual student extentions. Through SparkED we offer Designer Cloud to educators to use in their courses. If you are taking a course that uses Alteryx your professor can request a workspace.
Students can request a free 1 - year Alteryx Designer Desktop Licence. You can run it on a Mac using a virtual machine such as Parallels.
