Predictive analytics

Hello,

I would like to know how you could make a prediction of weather to send an email to a certain person or not. In my data I have the time to spend on the website, the numbers of pages viewed and whether or not someone has responded to the email campaign. With this info I would like to know first of all after how much time and pages will a person be more likely to respond to the email and also I would like to know if I decide to whom should I resend an email to, to have the best responce rate.

For the moment I tried this after watching a video, but I wansn't succesfull with it :

Hi @Louis_Vandame

Basically, trying the Open Samples is the good way to learn the predictive tool. Please try to open example and check the difference from your workflow.

Or Interactive lesson is good to learn too.

If you can share your workflow with sample data, I can check it.

Hi @Louis_Vandame

Did you try to use your data? If error occurs, please let me know.

There are some points to be aware of for using Predictive tools.

 - delete fields that are clone field

 - delete fields with constant value

 - do the data cleansing for Null value

 - keep the appropriate field name( the field name starting with numeric or special character is not accepted )

Hello Akimasa

I don't really understand what you mean by "Did you try to use your data?", what exaclty do you want me to do to "use my data".

For example I tied the following which is the average time spent on the website and the number of replies that i got from the email survey (in a yes no format answering the question did they reply?)

Predictive analytics is a branch of advanced analytics that makes predictions about future outcomes using historical data combined with statistical modeling, data mining techniques and machine learning. Companies employ predictive analytics to find patterns in this data to identify risks and opportunities.

Hi @Louis_Vandame

Sorry for my late reply.

"Did you try to use your data?" means if you can do what you want to do, it is okay, but if not, let me know the problem, I can assist you.
