Embedded video disappears on saving

I have a video located on a Sharepoint site. I get the link for the MP4

company.sharepoint.com/:v:/r/sites/Sharepointsite/Shared%20Documents/Path%20to%20Production/First%20Test.mp4?csf=1&web=1&e=Vi8gY6  

I strip out the parameters 

company.sharepoint.com/:v:/r/sites/Sharepointsite/Shared%20Documents/Path%20to%20Production/First%20Test.mp4   

I use the add/edit button at the top of the editor to add the link

and it works. The video appears and will actually play

but once I click save, the video disappears

How can I make sure the video remains after I click save?

Hi Nathan, 

So you don't get any error message, just link to video doesn't save? 

Can you, after you try to save it again, check the log file (or share it here) if you see any error?
If you try safe any other public content (for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpKb5DThDX4) you will get the same result?
