We’re wrapping up summer vacation here, and if it’s anything for you like it has been for many of us here on the community team, it’s been absolutely PACKED with work, fun, and activities galore! But you can’t forget to stop and smell the roses, too – the community is always here, and is a great place to focus on what you might have missed during your vacations or away time and brush up on some skills.

Need to Know

Our team is currently working through several large-scale projects, so this release was a bit light for us but had many goodies for our users to experience!

Most recently, we updated the Master Calendar to now have a featured carousel and calendar component, making it easier for users to see and join in on upcoming events, user group meetings, and more.

We’ve also corrected several bugs that users had reported to us, including the issue with our announcement banner failing to close correctly, a blog formatting issue on mobile devices causing the text to overlap, and the LinkedIn profile icon having gone missing. All this and more have been corrected in this release to streamline the user experience.

Since this release was more bug fixes than new features, be sure to check out our version history for complete details. Our developers look forward to showing you all the big projects we’re working on, though, so stay tuned!

Community News

We’ve been planting lots of seeds in the community recently, and it’s coming up on time for them to grow and blossom! One BIG thing that you may have seen is that Inspire EMEA is coming to Amsterdam in October – this is bound to be an amazing event, so if you haven’t had a chance to register and think you might want to go, get it done HERE! We’ve also got some Inspire adjacent activities coming up as well, like getting ready for the Grand Prix – registrations open up next week, and if you’re on the fence about participating – don't be! The worst thing that happens is that you don’t win, but it’s a great experience regardless!

There’s another digital event coming up in September as well – our quarterly Alter.Next Virtual Summit is coming up on September 8! Register for Alter.Next and you’ll hear how different brands are upskilling their organizations, transforming the depth of insights they can reach, and how analytic maturity can really help you get ahead. If you need some more insights, check out some of the past recap blogs we’ve covered as well below:

Don’t forget to check out the Master Calendar that is mentioned earlier as well; there are plenty of other upcoming events in the community – if you haven’t been to a User Group meeting yet, then what are you waiting for? It’s one of the best ways to get involved in the community at a bit of a higher level. So get involved, and if you need any guidance, reach out to us!

Closing

It can always seem like there’s too much to do and not enough time – but when you do have some downtime, don’t forget to focus on yourself as well. Use the Alteryx Community to your advantage to make your life easier, instead of banging your head against the wall and if you run into any major issues, the team is always here. Until next time, y’all!
