Does anyone else feel all warm and fuzzy when they get to use Regex?

Anyone?

*gets coat*

Spoiler
I used the text to columns to split out the first field, then used Regex to parse out the 4 digit year from the filename using \d\d\d\d.
I then grouped the records by year and gender to find the maximum frequency and joined back on these fields to the main stream.
Then I simply split by gender and joined on the year.
