This week's challenge takes a look at pet ownership in the United States, specifically ownership of dogs and cats. There are two input files this week, one containing information on pet ownership in the US and the other containing states as shapefiles.
Use these input data files to create a pdf containing: 1) a thematic map displaying the density of pet ownership by state and 2) a bar chart for the 10 states with the highest percentage of households with pets (including the percentage of cat and dog owners for those states).
