What an incredible evening we had on 8/7! We had great turnout of 13 people and so much engagement on analytics and career transitions!
@jadepech presented an introduction on what data is, how we access it, and what it can tell us. @Ben_Edelman dove deeper into data types and use cases highlighting the really neat things you can figure out from data. We focused on a sample budgeting workflow highlighting the skills of grouping data together, basic calculations and summary tools, and went into a regression analysis. We heard from @alibertini on her transition into analytics and the impact learning Alteryx had.
We had a lot of great questions and conversation around analytics and AI with great engagement from all.
As a lesson learned, we will have better directions for the next user group meeting, which we already have a presenter lined up.
We look forward to seeing everyone engage in data discussions at the next one. Keep an eye out for our September meeting.
