Hi Seattle Alteryx Users,
In an effort for all of us to get to know each other, please introduce yourself using the following questions as a template.
Hello! My name is Eric Veal and I work at Tableau and live in the Seattle area. I love data and have been working as a web developer since 1996. I have been a computer lover since the 80's. Alteryx is a great and powerful tool and I have found it useful as a complement to Tableau.
What is your name, company, and industry you work in?
Eric Veal, Tableau, Software/Tech/Data/Business/Change/Future Industry.
What are your favorite weekend activities? Building businesses, eating French dip sandwiches, being outdoors, seeing friends.
How do you currently use Alteryx? I use it at work for a variety of things. I am still pretty new to it and learning the ropes. I have worked with SQL Server Integration Services in the past and can write C#. I have also recently started playing with Zapier which seems very powerful. Alteryx seems like a good alternative to these other approaches.
What areas would you like to grow in? Communications, business development, fundraising, technical capability.
Hello Amigos,
I am Siddharth Kulkarni and starting up with learning Alteryx. I am a developer and tasked with setting up Alteryx for the Business Analysts team.
Is there a good documentation for DevOps engineers/developers to understand the Set Up/Installation of Alteryx in cloud? (Especially AWS)

Hi Everyone,
My name is Angel Evan and I have a small company based in Seattle that primarily focuses on Data Science and Analytics. I'm a bit new to Alteryx myself, but have been in discussions with them as of late to determine how we may be able to use Designer to help clean and sort our clients' data on an ongoing basis.
Hi Alteryx Group,
I am Nina Zhang, working as Senior technical BA for Commonwealth bank in Commsec. I am excited to learn and share knowledge with everyone in Alteryx Group.
I usually write SQL to run reports and I am looking forward to using Alteryx tools to replace the complex store proc with functions.
Cheers!
Nina

Hi everyone!
My name is Dave Chandra and I am from Tampa.
I am brand new to Alteryx and currently work as a Tax Processor Specialist for Pricewaterhouse Coopers' Tampa office.
When I am not working, I enjoy 18 holes of golf with my family and friends, go for long walks on the beach and watch comedy movies.
I earnestly intend to get Alteryx certified, and use the knowledge I obtain to successfully do whatever I need to with Alteryx, in the future!
Hello and good morning Seattle area Alteryx users!
My name is Cliff. I work at T-Mobile and use Alteryx daily assist in analyzing customer care performance and impacts. Alteryx has revolutionized not only how we look at our data, but it's actually increased the number of datasets we are using. It's been a very rewarding experience. I am most interested in learning more about leveraging Alteryx to facilitate time series forecasting and to assist in building ML algorithms.
On weekends (and evenings) I spend time outdoors exploring the Seattle area with my German Shepherd, visiting local (and Canadian) wineries, and Jeeping around off-highways in Central Washington. I look forward to being part of the local user community!
Regards,
Cliff
