Dear Members,

We are kicking off 2022 with two great presentations for the Q1 2022 meeting.

Topic #1: Create an Alteryx Gallery App for End-User Access
Title: Save a Ship-ton of Time with Alteryx Server
Description: This session will focus on publishing a logistics optimization model to Alteryx Gallery for use by non-analytic end-users. Areas that will be covered will be prepping your Alteryx workflow as an interfaceable app, publishing to Alteryx server, working with chained apps, and providing user access.

Topic #2: Download, prepare, anlalyze, and report local real estate data
Title: Finding A Needle In A Haystack
Description: This session will discuss a personal use case of how I used local real estate data along with Alteryx to optimize my search for a townhome.

Wow! We had an excellent User Group meeting with a record number of attendees.

A big thank you to Garrett Klas and Phillip Felice of Sea Cliff Consulting for presenting an excellent fast paced presentation on creating an Alteryx Gallery app and chained apps. Phillip introduced the Use Case of how to create chained apps and sharing them in Alteryx Server. This allows users who may not have an Alteryx Designer license, run these shared apps.  Phillip set the stage by explaining the Use Case and displaying the workflow which was followed by a detailed demo on how the workflow was created and how chaining works.

The second session was by our very own UG leader John Hollingsworth, who presented a very cool personal use case where he used Alteryx Designer and Open Data to help a family member find a suitable home, based on some limiting criteria.  The data analysis was a success and his family members are now comfortably settled in their new digs.

Thank you to all who attended in person. If you missed the presentation, please watch the video to see both sessions.

Thank you to Flavia for the great support to help make this meeting a success.

See you all at the next meeting.

Thanks,

Sarah Roberts, John Hollingsworth and Conrad D'Cruz
