Disappointed in the instructions. They could have been much clearer.

I had some trouble understanding the data that came up after the "join tool". I did not get which parameter is the one chosen to match both sets of data. At the end, i did not get the exact correct answer, i believe it was because of the rounding up. I tried "fixed decimal" but did not work for me.
