Used Datetime to convert the string to a matching date - had to remember to specify *inbound* stream. Join excluded the non-matching records, something that wasn't clarified. I used a formula tool to get the 4 values I needed and a select tool to strip out what I wanted. Hardest part was learning/putting into use the summarization. For some reason I thought I could only output *one* column, trick was to group first by order ID, the total the individual things and use "min" for days to ship
