Greetings Alteryx Community!

I'm excited to share that I've embarked on the practice exercises in the Getting Started learning path. Along with two friends, we're working towards achieving our Designer Core certification this month. Engaging with these exercises, along with participating in the weekly challenges on the Alteryx community, is proving to be an invaluable experience!

Here is a simple step-by-step explanation of my workflow:

- Connected the Input Data tool to a Select tool, and deselected "Weekly Sales" and "Store Volume" columns. Renamed the "TransinYear" column to Annual transactions.

-  Connected the Select tool to a Filter tool, including only records from the "South" region.
- Connected the Filter tool to a Sort tool, sorting in descending order based on Annual Transactions column
- Connected the Sort tool to a Sample tool, selecting the top 5 records.
- Connect the Sample tool to an Output Data tool, saving the output as "Final State - Exercise 1.yxdb".
