Thank you all for those who attended our first annual “physical” Marketing User Group meeting at Inspire 2019! Nashville was a blast and we hope you all had a great time. Now that the dust has settled and we are all amplified, here’s a recap of our meeting:
Our leaders:
- Ashley Vincent, DEG
- Jarrod Thuener, Kristalytics
I’d like to take a second to step out of the agenda to announce our newest additions to the user group leaders:
- Tessa Hauck, Garmin
- Raghav Nargotra, 7-Eleven
We look forward to working with you both in the coming months.
- Tessa Hauck shared her amazing journey into data analytics. From funeral services to legal services and more schooling then landing a dream job working with outdoor equipment from Garmin. Her story was filled with heartache and perseverance. Thank you, Tessa for sharing with us.
- Networking
This meeting was a little different since we were all in the same physical room, so thank you to all who stayed a little after the meeting and met some fellow marketeers.
- Quick note – we plan on meeting for Lunch next year @ Inspire New Orleans. (6a was a little early for most of us)
- Next meetings
- We are planning to have our next 2 quarterly meetings in August and November. We hope you can join
If anyone would like to share how they are using Alteryx within the marketing space, please let one of the User Group leaders know and we will get you on the schedule to present.
Thank you all again for a great Inspire and we look forward to many more!

Thank you for the recap, Jarrod. This was my 2nd Inspire and I can say it was totally amplifying.
Getting to attend the different training sessions, meeting like minded people from various industries, Alter-Nation & a sneak peak into the future of Alteryx were some of the best moments from those 4 days. Look forward to our next quarterly meeting and share some of those learnings with the Marketing User Group.
For the Alteryx addicts who were not able to attend the conference, you can see the Keynotes here and access the session content from here.
