Documentation: Q2 2022 Insights Data Packages

The Q2 2022 Business and Location Insights data packages are now available to plug into your analytic processes. The packages include analytics-ready data from a variety of vendors as well as data-specific analysis tools which will empower users to get the most from the packaged data. Here is what you can look forward to in this release:

Refreshed Data  
This contains quarterly updates for D&B Business Data, Experian Consumer View, and TomTom datasets and annual updates for Experian CAPE and Mosaic.

Updated Data

*  The Q2 2022 Business Insights Data (US) provides updated household and population data as well as additional updated datasets for CAPE and Mosaic Allocate datasets. The experimental 2020 ACS wasn’t advised for use; therefore, Experian has provided the same ACS 2019 data that currently is available.

*   Detailed information on changes in this CAPE release can be found in the CAPE_2022_Tech_Overview.docx provided in the Documentation\Experian\CAPE directory.

*  NAICS codes are updated every five years, and we have updated the NAICS codes referenced by Dun & Bradstreet data to represent the 2022 NAICS update. The updated NAICS Lookup Table has been provided in Documentation\DNB\NAICS Codes.xlsx

*  Due to a lack of updated data, Kalibrate informed us the Q2 release data was the same as the Q1 release data. We updated the names to reflect the current vintage and have been informed that the Q3 2022 dataset will have new and updated TraffixMetrix data.

*  The CASS US June 2022 install provides the latest license for CASS, which otherwise expires in late July.

*   The CASS US April 2022 dataset also provided this license update.

*  The Allocate Consumer Expenditure Detail Comparison reports for five-year projections have been corrected to represent the expected year (2027).

*  The “TomTom Streets with Satellite” basemap will no longer install by default, but is still present with each data package.

*   Create a backup of the INI file for the TomTom basemaps in a separate folder.

*    Example: “2022_Q2_Data_US\AlteryxMaps_TomTom_US_2022_Q2\AlteryxMaps_TomTom_US_2022_Q2\TomTom_US_2022_Q2.ini”

*   Edit the INI file by removing each of the semicolons preceding the DataSet with DbSetFileName=TomTom_Streets_Sat, this is typically [DataSet2].

*   Save the INI file and run the installer to access this layer along with the other TomTom basemaps.

*   Note: The Map Input tool will display Mapbox and Maxar attributions on each tile when this basemap is selected.

All data packages are available via the Downloads and Licenses portal. US and Canada Business Insights customers will receive their hard drives later this week, but they are also welcome to download the data from the portal.

Hello, I'm getting an error message when I unpack the ConsumerView data. I've downloaded the data a second time and am still getting an error. Can I just ignore the error and continue the install? Or is there something else going on? Below is a screen shot of the files that are failing to extract.
