Acquiring Nursing Home Compare Data from Data.gov: BA and AA: Symphony Post Acute Network

Nathan Taylor, Clinical Informatics Consultant, Symphony Post Acute Network

Eduardo Segovia, Healthcare Data Analyst, Symphony Post Acute Network

  • Each month, Symphony reviews The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Nursing Home Compare star ratings.  Before Alteryx (BA), each facility’s data was manually located and entered in to a spreadsheet.  After Alteryx (AA), we have scheduled workflow that extracts the data for our facilities and stores it in our data warehouse. 

 

Intermountain Healthcare Executive Dashboard: How Alteryx Made it Possible

Devyn Woodfield, ‎Data Analyst, Intermountain Healthcare

  • The executive leadership of Intermountain Healthcare requested an Executive Dashboard be built in Tableau. The amount of data, the complexity of that data, and the variety of data sources were challenging problems to tackle. This presentation will go over how Alteryx overcomes these obstacles to provide a robust workflow to facilitate data flow into the dashboard.

 

How the Colorado Hospital Associations uses Alteryx to identify across-hospital readmissions and calculate patient safety measures
