Unable to run chained workflows in alteryx server.

Hello All,

Hope you're doing well.

I'm trying to run 2 chained apps from the alteryx gallery, but it's giving me error saying that "Workflow exceeded maximum runtime of 30 seconds and was cancelled"

It looks like some config change needs to be done from the server side as per the this article

Is there any alternative which we can use to kick off these chained apps in the gallery?

Each chained apps contains 2 workflows chained together. Later these apps needs to be scheduled monthly or daily.

Please advise.

Also is it possible to schedule these apps from the shared drive instead of server?

Hey @swapsingh2712 ,

That is the only alternative available for that, you need to ask your alteryx server admin to configure that.

About your second question, you can use the option to schedule to a controller: https://help.alteryx.com/20214/designer/schedule-workflows

You will need to get the controller token from the Alteryx Server system settings to be able to use this option in your designer, and you will be able to call workflows that are in shared folders.
