SharePoint List Input (SPO) - Token request failed.

Hello,

We are suddenly experiencing an error with our SharePoint List Input tools that are leveraging app-only authentication to connect with SPO lists.  The error details are minimal: Error encountered: Token request failed.

These were working fine up until recently (we have not made any changes to the version of Alteryx Server).  The same workflows that are erroring on Server can be run without issue in Alteryx Designer.

Any ideas?

We are coming across the same issue since last week. Scheduled workflows are intermittently failing. Workflow will work once re-run with no change to SP input/output tool configuration.

We have regenerated client ID and secret key and tested with no improvement.

@alanjmcnamara for me, this was related to a change on Microsoft's end to only support specific, more secure cipher suites for TLS handshake. I resolved the problem by upgrading the version of Windows Server that was deployed on the VM that hosts Alteryx Server.
