Hi,
My company doesn't allow gallery connections for IN-DB tools. We generally use regular Input tools but I have a workflow which extracts millions of data and it takes lot of time to execute with Input tools.
I would like to know if there is way to deploy a workflow with IN-DB tools and ask user to provide credentials manually (as parameters)
If not, can I know alternatives please.
Thank you for your help!

Hi @Reddy4 ,
Only so you are aware, It is not possible to use Gallery Data Connections with in-db tools.
When using in-db, you have two options:
- in-db files: A file with an encrypted password placed in a shared folder for the users. It works similarly to a gallery data connection if you think about
- DCM: The user can create the connection and use his own user and password in it. The Gallery data connections are curator-managed whereas the DCM connections are artisan-managed.
Best,
Fernando Vizcaino
